- Graduates of Equator - Khoo Kah Soo and Fee Lay Bee did the college proud by receiving the Outstanding Achievement Awards for Master of Fine Art and Design (MFAD) study at the the University of Tasmania, Australia at their graduation exhibition in November 2005. With them is Professor Vincent McGrath, the Head of School, Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Tasmania

- Equator graduate Dr. Eugene Ch'ng is now a Research Fellow and an Honorary Visiting Lecturer for two prestigious universities in the UK. Says Dr. Eugene Ch'ng, "The lessons Equator taught me were invaluable to my developments in design. I remembered very clearly that my academy principal Mr. Chuah Kooi Yong always stresses the importance of a good foundation." He adds, "As I look back, I must admit that the excellent teaching staff and the well-structured courses gave me a sure foundation in creativity in any field, whether of arts or of science that I choose to pursue. Any person who wish to excel in their careers should seriously consider the Equator Academy of Art for their education needs."

- Jim Khor, graduate of EAA in the year 2000 with a Diploma in Graphic and Multimedia Design is currently based in Singapore, working as a Marketing Specialist and a Web & Multimedia Designer in the Product Research Team for Mikoishi Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd.. His most recent projects include designing Flash applications for Mikoishi Flash Comic and creating the Star Wars Battlefront mobile website.

- Upon completion of his Diploma in Architectural Technology at Equator, Ooi Sze Meng was immediately employed in an architect's firm in Penang where he worked on various housing and commercial projects. He went on to study at the Edinburgh College of Art, Heriot Watt University in Scotland where he successfully obtained his Royal Institute of British Architects Part I and later continued his postgraduate studies in Architecture, obtaining his Royal Institute of British Architects Part II in 2003. Sze Meng is currently an Architect based in Penang. The projects which he's been involved in includes Sky Home Super Condominium, Sunshine Square Refurbishment, Kelawei View Super Condominium, Red Rock Hotel Restaurant Refurbishment and various bungalow, housing and commercial projects.

- Mr. Alec Ooi is currently a professional designer working at DIS Technology Holdings Berhad (DIST) as a Graphic Design Manager. He joined EAA in 1999 majoring in the Graphic & Multimedia Design discipline and graduated with a Diploma in 2001. During his studies at EAA, he was an active member of the student body and was also the Chief Designer for the Graduation Exhibition themed 'New Born' in the year 2001. Mr. Ooi would like to extend his appreciation and thanks to all the staff and lecturers involved for the constant guidance he received during his studies at EAA, as throughout the years at EAA, he was able to obtain skills, knowledge and experiences that was necessary for the working environment.

- Alumni Lim Soo Hung, currently a Sales and Marketing Executive at a public listed company had this to say about Equator, "Equator is the best choice. Equipped with the most advanced technology and knowledgeable lecturers, Equator helped me to achieve my ambition of becoming a Graphic Designer". Particular thanks went out to Mr. Felix, as Soo Hung adds, "Mr. Felix taught me about design. I was encouraged to design representative in both technical and practical constraints with text and image." Soo Hung graduated with a Master in Graphic Communication and Design Studies from the University of Wolverhampton after completing her studies at Equator. Whilst in the UK, she also worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer, where she explored on non-Asian culture, presenting different visual perception in a market that had strong and huge design demand.

- Mr. Ken Kee graduated from Equator in 2001 with a Diploma in Graphic & Multimedia Design. He is now the Assistant Manager at Pensonic Holdings Berhad, responsible for Pensonic's Marketing Department. He would like to express his gratitude towards EAA, says Ken, "The strong design foundation that I have gained at EAA has helped me to achieve what I have today, which is a good and challenging career. Those times that I spent at Equator was the most enjoyable and unforgettable moments in my life. Mr. Chuah (the Principal), staff, and lecturers had been very helpful and friendly towards me. Equator was like my second home."

- Ms. Loe Shin Yoong graduated from Equator with a Diploma in Graphic and Multimedia Design in year 2000. She has since pursued her Bachelor degree in Communications Studies at Equator's partner university - Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand, and is currently pursuing her Masters in Information Technology at University Malaya. Upon completion of her studies at Equator, she was employed at OE Fine Jewellery Sdn Bhd as their Advertising & Promotions Executive, where her job responsibilities included planning and implementing advertising and promotional activities for the company.

- What you see here is Mr. Terence Neoh, a highly passionate and motivated CGI Artist. Terence graduated from EAA in the year 2000 and has since pursued his Bachelor's degree in Communications Studies at the Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand. This successful CGI Artist is currently based in KL working for BASECAMPIVFX Sdn Bhd. He is responsible for the visual effects and animation division that produces TV commercials and films. Terence's most recent projects include building a computer generated city for the Malaysian superhero flick - The Cicak Man and TV commercials for Nokia. Terence would like to congratulate Equator during its 20th Anniversary celebration and express his thanks to Equator for helping him build up a strong foundation in the creative industry.
