Student Services
Student services that are available to EAA students are: Job Placement Here at EAA, we believe that students should be exposed to
the industry while they are still studying. Hence, it is part of our syllabus
that all Full-Time students are send for Practical Training with the industry's
best for a minimum period of three (3) months to obtain the necessary working
experience. EAA is a long established college where students have
performed excellently in the job market. Every now and then, we receive offers
of employment to our students. In fact, demands for our students constantly
exceed supplies. Overseas Universities
Information This service is primarily to help students seek information
(i.e. course enquiries, application process, fees structure) on Universities
and colleges that have MOUs with Equator. Among the universities that we are
partnered with are: United
Kingdom Australia New
Zealand Career and Personal
Counselling Counselling services are available to students during office
hours with the Student Counsellor who is based at the Leith Street Campus. Career counselling is available to students who wish to seek
information on Overseas Universities for further studies, or wanting to know
more about future job prospects in the local or international design
industries. Personal counselling is also available to students who need
someone to talk to concerning their personal problems. It is provided to help
students who have major concerns on their minds which includes uncertainty
about their future, home sickness, difficulties in a relationship, difficulties
with their housemates, depression or grief. The counselling sessions are
treated in strict confidentiality, and may help the students to understand and
overcome their problems which may help in their personal and social
developments. Accommodation Service EAA's campuses are strategically located in the heart of George Town where students
are able to find cheap, quality accommodation within walking distance to both
campuses easily. Facilities such as restaurants, coffee shops, cafes,
laundries, convenient shops, clinics, hospitals, dry & wet markets,
telephone booths and parking facilities are easily available. Accommodations for the students are around both campuses such as Hutton Lane Residence, Burma Road, Muntri Street, Transfer Road, Kelawai Road and Gurney Drive. Overseas and outstation students should make necessary
arrangements for their accommodation when they arrive to register themselves in
EAA. To avoid any dispute or misunderstanding with the landlord, students are
advised to enter into a tenancy agreement with the landlord, which should
stipulate clearly the terms and conditions of the contract. Information on accommodations (i.e. accommodation list) are
available through the Accommodation Officer. Students may contact the
Accommodation Officer at +604-2615116 to arrange time and date to see the
accommodations that are available. Insurance A 'Student Personal Accident Insurance Scheme' insures all
students of the college who have paid up their fees with no extra charge. The

world. The sum insured is RM25,000.00 in case of accidental death or total
